Do you recognize the tune? You've heard it before! It's an American folk classic, "Turkey in the Straw." But did you know that that familiar fiddlers' tune really has its roots in Ireland? That's right! What we know as "Turkey in the Straw" dates back to an Irish folk tune in the 1800s. Sinckerdoodle's ancestors were, no doubt, part of the famous "Doodle" clan of Irish 'little people,'—magical sprites and mischievous prankster elves known as leprechauns!
